#1Performance with citations
Performance degraded (by rougly 50%) after adding support for citations. Setting
readerCitationStyle = Nothinggives back the previous performance. This seems to be a problem in Pandoc, but it might be good to only set the citation style when the user has supplied references so that the performance hit only appears when citations are actually used.
On the other hand, this issue might be negligible once #7 is fixed.
