when opening any site except for the main page i get this error.

special thing about this setup are that the static file a serve with nginx, also that the binary was build on a different system and copy over.
Weird. I would add trace statements around the code path to /explore to help locate the problematic read call. (Or possibly building with GHC 8.4 would show a stack trace by default, not sure.)
