#198darcs hub intermittent outages, especially since 2025-08
Overactive crawlers can cause intermittent outages of the hub.darcs.net web app. Unfortunately this has increased this year, especially since August. Currently I don't have a better fix than to forcibly restart the web app on the hour. (So if you find hub.darcs.net down or slow, try again at the top of the hour.)

PS using darcs hub via ssh should not be affected by this.
2026-06-19: we are currently being DDOS-ed by Meta's crawlers. I have added some firewall rules to block them, and the web app is currently responsive, but YMMV until it stops.
