improved plain text editor for Standard Notes
#1Huge gap between line end last word
Hi!
Pretty good extension you've created :)
I'm facing a minor issue with it. For some reason, when a given paragraph has more than one line it adds a huge gap between the last line and the end of the area I can write on (you can check the screenshot here: https://i.imgur.com/7ELLP7e.png).
If the text does not touch the end of the input, it works ok. But, as soon as it touches the end of the input, for some reason it adds that gap.
What should I do? (I'm using the Linux Desktop App)

The underlying editor has a set max-wrap length --- and the app has built in left/right margins you can move around (you only see them when the text is long enough vertically to scroll, or you move you pointer over the maargin). You should be able to grab the right margin and drag it left to the natural wrap point (or further if desired).
Thanks for the quick response!
Is it possible to disable the set max-wrap length? I know that I can change the margins of the app itself, but I would like to use the entire available space.
Not at this time. One of the "features" of the underlying "indent editor" is to indent paragraphs or wrapped list elements as a block --- and they will remain the same wrapped length unless they are indented all the way to the hard margin (at which point they will start re-wrapping).
The underlying indent editor does allow for individual lines to be somewhat longer than the coded wrap length before wrapping, and the author of the "indent editor" did add a configuration button to allow to turn off such long lines --- but that doesn't change the underlying wrap length, only the point at which wrapping is forced.
