The title is the problem. I mean, was the problem. It crashes if in config keyboard(in particular, layout) section aren't written and if it is first installation on a system. OS: arch linux Linux version: 5.15.7.arch1-1
Maybe keyboard section should be added in config example.
Weston has the same behavior with (probably)unsupported locales.
