#5Native wayland thunderbird refuses to take input after sheet switch
This could only be reproduced on Linux systems at the moment, so we are trying to collect all sorts of information in this ticket to find out what's going on.
Here are the reported steps to reproduce this:
- Open
thunderbird - Switch to another sheet in
hikari - Do some stuff in the other window like typing
- Switch back to
thunderbird thunderbirdseems to no longer respond to inputs
thunderbird version during testing was 68.8.0 wlroots version during testing was 0.10.1
Current workaround: use X11 backend or
thunderbirdnightly seems to be fixing this as well.- status set to closed
Closing since it appears to be a
thunderbirdissue.Just want to add, if someone stumbles upon this issue: It also helps to have different views on the same sheet as thunderbird.
At least for writing an email, switching to another view does help in getting an update of the window.
