I'm a little confused about how to move views between outputs.

mode-enter-sheet-assign mentions that "If multiple outputs are available they can be cycled using TAB." However this only results in an "@ 1" being toggled in the views indicator. I believe that that indicates whether the view is borrowed?

Is it possible to assign a view directly to a sheet, e.g. via view-pin-to-sheet

  Nevermind... the Arch AUR package was out of date. Does away when I install from darcs

  I know this issue is already closed but you can change the output with mode-enter-sheet-assign and TAB. You have to confirm by pressing Enter though (I'm assuming you didn't do that?) The output name in the sheet indicator bar should change. If that 's not the case it's probably a bug.
